After engagement, the shell resists flex and offers excellent rearward support during hard landings. Dual-fold design offers substantial weight savings over traditional 4-buckle designs, making it even easier to spin and flip. As compared to men's liners, women-specific liners feature extra padding in the tongue, more insulation throughout and a contoured top edge designed to fit women's calves. Shock-absorbent technology of the Velvet Ace boots help you push your limits and hone your skills while maintaining comfort. Additional padding in the tongues and cuffs absorb shock and damp vibrations, making your ride smooth and easy. Liners provide a personalized fit when custom molded. Shock-absorbent toe box pads the front of your feet, reducing painful toe bang. Built into the shell, a shock-absorbent wedge provides superb vibration damping while stomping big-air landings. Shock-absorbent footbeds enhance damping underfoot. 3-buckle closure offers solid leverage to ensure the best possible wrapping of the foot; instep retention promotes safe and comfortable landings. 45mm cuff strap acts as a fourth buckle allowing you to set the firmness around the upper ankle as you prefer for comfort or performance.
